[M75 in IR, 2MASS]

Globular cluster Messier 75 in the infrared light, as photographed by the 2MASS infrared telescopes, and imaged in the 2MASS Atlas. The image field is 6.0 x 6.0 arc minutes. As for all infrared images, this is a false-color image. In this case, different IR wavelength bands were mapped to colors, with the coolest (shortest, farthest IR wavelengths) red and the warmest (longest, nearest to visible) blue.
