[M102/N5866, AP7 CCD, Tim Hunter/James McGaha]

M102 candidate NGC 5866, a lenticular or very early spiral galaxy seen almost exactly edge-on, as photographed by Tim Hunter and James McGaha with their 24-inch f/5 reflector and Apogee AP 7 CCD camera, at Grasslands Observatory. This image is a 3-color composite. Exposures with approximate times: Red (R) = 4 minutes, Green (V) = 4 minutes, and Blue (B) = 6 minutes.
